"The shower in the restroom overflowed, and the water never got hot. Additionally, the air conditioning did not adequately cool the upstairs sleeping area. While the downstairs remained comfortable, the upstairs loft where the bed was located was extremely warm and felt like a heat box, making it difficult to sleep."

"Review is factual and based on my own experience. No frill ,clean,room with a fridge in a corner and a bathroom. Access is via 3 lots of stairs and neglected, musty staircase. Photos of the picnic,garden area should reflect present situation.Dirty patio furniture and tired looking garden. I paid for a room with kitchen facilities and got a room that was not what I paid for. I loved Vico Equense, but wouldn't recommend Scaramellino. "The couple who own this b and b have created a beautiful, quaint place to relax! The accommodations were spacious, the grounds were gorgeous and the pool was perfect! The bonus was the bar T the pool and the sweet man who worked there-Rosario! Our breakfast each morning was perfection! Fresh squeezed orange juice, made to order cappuccino, bakery fresh pastries, yogurt and fruit(meat and cheese upon request-we didn't need any!) we highly recommend!"

"An absolute gem of a hotel! If you are on the fence about booking, just do it. The views alone are worth every penny. Instead of an expensive taxi, take the local bus for €1.50. "Beautiful farm to table fresh breakfast and the staff went above and beyond. After our checkout, we had a few hours so we decided to go to the beach and they let my family shower before our flight which was so appreciated. They also held our luggage for us while we were at the beach. Property in itself is very clean, our rooms were cleaned every morning and staff was friendly. 5 stars"

"Lovely property, room was delightful. Beautiful terrace overlooking the bay. The girls on reception were great, helpful, recommending restaurants etc and always smiley. Breakfast great too. If only it was a little nearer the station, but no big deal, good for the step count!"

"One of the best hotels I ever stayed. The room has a large balcony with a table and a bed and a great view down the town and the ocean. The room was vast and decorated with flowers and furniture. The staff was very attentive and quick to help. The breakfast made us feel like nobles. It is located a little high on the hills, but it actually gave us chances to encounter the inner parts of Positano for which otherwise we wouldn’t have. Look to come back the next time we visit Positano."

"Awesome little B&B ran by a very lovely woman and her husband. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Sorrento, but easily close enough to walk to everything.
