"Overall this is a gorgeous hotel and definitely honeymoon worthy. My main complaint is how difficult it is to book the restaurants - we only stayed 3 days and arrived and there was NO availability. They managed to squeeze us in early and late 2 nights, but why not have enough availability for all guests? It’s a shame it’s not adults only - there are very few kids, mainly babies, and it’s awkward for everyone when there’s one baby at breakfast crying in amongst all the couples. It’s fantastic...

"The room was gorgeous - v spacious. Amazing for snorkelling and the beach is absolutely stunning. We really enjoyed the food, my only suggestion would be to have some free bubbly at breakfast as other comparable resorts on Mahe do. The coffee is actually good here which is rare! The alcoholic drinks aren’t cheap but they are nice. The service is great, bringing you water on the sunloungers. "

"The Villa Caballero is a winner. The villas themselves are well equipped, clean and comfortable. The staff is top notch - in fact, I had a knee injury and needed ice and I think the staff went out and purchased gel packs as they seemed brand new and unused. Bravo!!! The property is two minute walk from Turtle Beach, two restaurants and a rather new craft brewery. Highly recommend!!!!"
