"Few things were broken in room upon arrival, staff was good about it but still a pain to have to lean a box against the fridge to keep it closed. Big stain on mattress, sheets looked clean. Staff was really good but there was also a large group of teenagers running amok all night long, hotel is right beside ice rink so probably great for tournaments, however for us it was a massive inconvenience for my family of 4 trying to relax after a stressful medical appointment. "It was a great option for a clean and easy stay after a long flight. I wish I had more time to walk the trails near the house, they looked really nice! The family was also very nice and helpful when I was so so tired. It cost me a little bit in Ubers to get there from the airport, and the house was very echoey, so even though everyone was respectful and quiet I could still hear doors opening/ closing throughout the house during the night etc."

I sadly didn't have the time to properly explore this area, but I can imagine that there is lots of stuff to see! I can only recommend this place to others 😊"

"Air Conditioning worked awesome, hotels not fancy but the price point was ok. No coffee on site or in your room. No filtered water to drink, no food on site. Just a basic room that was just fine. Pillows sucked but the bed was good."

"The room and staff were excellent. Our only alert is there is no elevator and the rooms are at the top of 16 very steep, narrow stairs…not ideal for 2 seniors on holidays with large heavy suitcases. We highly recommend the Cafe next door for breakfast. Large fresh portions, friendly service, and very reasonable prices. Good coffee too … the coffee in the hotel room took only one sip to know we could wait for breakfast-lol. "

"The bedsheet was clearly not changed before I used the bed, which is completely unacceptable. When I woke up in the morning, my dress was covered in white cat fur, making it obvious the bedding had already been used by someone else. This was unhygienic, careless, and extremely disappointing. I am genuinely unhappy with this experience."

"We were only there for one night, but it was a great experience. The staff were very courteous and friendly. The hotel was clean and our room was well-stocked with plates, cups, and silverware. (This was a big plus since we were traveling with a small child.) If we're ever in Vancouver again, I would definitely stay here."
