"This place is incredible! An amazing cliffside setting with direct access to the emerald water of the Mediterranean. However, because of its setting, there are a lot of stairs (not for those who are out of shape). There are 165 steps down to the accommodation from the main road (staff helped with luggage) and another 300 steps down to the water. "I just want to thank La Conca, they are great. It was indeed the most expensive hotel I’ve ever paid for, but I’d say it was worth every penny. They haven’t parking during the day, and if you communicate with them they are helpful. Pietro is such a good guy, helped us out when we came in super late. "About 2000 feet above the Amalfi coast Road. Not terribly convenient unless you are driving or renting a car. But the switchback road from seafront up to the hotel is an adventure in itself. The views are stunning and the balcony/decks off of the rooms are bigger than most hotel decks For all of their clientele. Quite luxuriously appointed and immaculately maintained."
