"This guest house has prominent position in the centre of Pogerola village, up in the hills 1000ft above Amalfi, with amazing views over the hills to Ravello and out to the sea. The village is small but well served with restaurants, bars. Walking to and from Amalfi is not for the faint-hearted, but there is an excellent bus service down to Amalfi, and the return shuttle runs till 11.30pm. "This hotel is a diamond in the rough. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to out of the norm circumstances. We were three hours early and they welcomed us. It’s a short walk into town and the bonus was private parking at the facilities. Would stay here again if my trip allowed it. "
