"Leading up to our stay, the one staff person that was incredibly helpful and polite was the woman at the front desk. Beyond that I would not recommend this place. Resort is quite the over-sell. We booked a room that was for 4 people but only planned on 3 of us initially. My other son decided to join us and they charged us another 50% of the room cost! And, for that they gave an extra pool towel to use. Then after the staff left, we realized he didn’t even have sheets for the pull out bed -...

"My family and I had the most spectacular experience here. Paola and Massimo were the most welcoming and generous staff who helped us with getting settled into Amalfi with it being our first visit. She showed us exactly which fairies to take to each city and we had an amazing stay in September. Don’t let the stairs intimidate you, it’s really not too bad after the first couple times! "Charming and quiet right in the heart of Amalfi. Our room overlooked the main corridor of shops and restaurants, and with the windows closed, almost no sound came through. Complimentary breakfasts and café were outstanding with the friendliest attendants. Highly recommend. A very affordable stay for this area with quiet shared terrace views."

"Die Villa Zagara ist im Verhältnis zu den Abbildungen eher schlicht. Das Frühstück war nicht sehr reichhaltig. Es gab im wesentlichen Obst und süßes Gebäck. Der Nachteil an der Lage ist, dass man zu Fuß vom Zentrum von Amalfi einen größeren Anstieg mit etwa 200 Stufen zurücklegen muss. Das war uns nicht klar. Das Gepäck wurde uns freundlicherweise abgenommen und mit einem Lift hochgebracht. Die Umgebung der Villa ist schön, es gibt Zitronenplantagen und den direkten Zugang zum Valle Delle...
