"The electricity was out for a whole day, when we asked about it, they didn’t provide any clarity on when it would come back on, and AC was out for a good chunk of it which made it difficult to enjoy the hotel. They kept telling us tranquilo when we asked about it. It was difficult to communicate in English. Although parking is free, spots are limited and difficult to park in. Also definitely far from town centre, only possible by driving, not by walking."

"We loved this beautifully renovated villa in a fantastic location! The staff was amazing, so helpful with directions and dinner recommendations/reservations. The pool was a nice break after a day of walking around town. I would caution you not to let your cab driver drop you at the entrance gate into the town, they need to take you up the road to the hotel (it is a tight turnaround for them so the front desk staff told us that they often drop guests at the gate, but you have to lug your bags up...

"We had such an amazing stay at La Maladrina. Sara was so helpful and kind. It was a great location with a very short walk to restaurants and Corso Umberto. We stayed at the two bedroom palms apartment with two bathrooms and it worked out great for our group of 3."

"The staff were very accommodating overall. They have a small garage and were able to let me park for a modest fee. This for me was a huge advantage since the area has very little convenient parking. The location right by Porta Catania is also very convenient for shopping and dining. I will definitely return here. The breakfast lady was also very nice and made sure I got my eggs cooked to my liking."

"The kindest people and the most beautiful place - we loved the pool, the views, the aircon and the short walk into town for dinner. Spotlessly clean and no need for a car - we easily caught the airport bus and walked (despite it being seriously hot). Thank you for making our short stay so special 💕"
