"We stayed here for one night, hoping to catch a glimpse of the Aurora Borealis while sleeping under the open sky. It got cloudy, so we didn’t get the spectacle we were hoping for. "All good: staff, hot bath outside (albeit a bit too hot!), very good breakfast, tea/coffee and cooking available in the lobby at all times, but the shower floor design is flawed: the water rolls into the room from under the door. And there is no fridge. In general, very good for the price."

Comfortable beds and linens, very quiet - out in the country, 20 minute drive to town (Selfoss) for groceries, restaurants, etc. The 2 family dogs are lovely. Communication was good, and no issues at check-in. Not far away from the Golden Circle route. Would highly recommend."

"Glamping experience with nice amenities all around and a really unique lounge area in the barn. The main area is a large building and has multiple bathrooms and showers. The facilities and kitchen were a little tight for the amount of people when full, but ultimately worked out fine. The big surprise was the barn lounge area. I definitely recommend spending some time in what is a really cool and unique underground area. Overall, was a comfortable and fun stay."
