Beautiful place in paradise. Right in the middle of the Viñales countryside. The rooms are huge with very tasteful and natural decor, incredibly clean, with a money box in the room, and a nice hot shower. The site is very quiet and peaceful and has a great restaurant area that is great for sundown. The chef cooks an amazing breakfast and dinner, enough food to feed about 10 people at a great price. She was also very kind and patient with my non existent Spanish. The owner and his son run the place and are really helpful and interesting to chat to. They’ll recommend and organise activities in the area such as tours, horse riding, walking and salsa lessons. They also have a place in town if you prefer being near the restaurants and other stuff but I preferred it here. Only 5km to the town which you can walk or get a taxi easily. Would recommended taking at least 3 nights, I wish I could’ve stayed longer!

Accueil chaleureux et professionnel, les bungalows sont confortables, le petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Julio est toujours prêt à rendre service ou à nous emmener en promenade dans les sites environnants.

It is a quite place on the middle of the valley, nice views. There are no cafes nearby: we used a taxi to town for lunch and dinner. Dinner is also offerred at the property, but the price is above the best restaurants in the town. Breakfast costs extra and is very basic. Walking tour offerred at the property is slightly overpriced.

My wife and I and our 8-month old son had an amazing stay at Finca Media Luna! Luis (the owner) and all of his staff were INCREDIBLE! They were so friendly and welcoming! Our time in Vinales with them was definitely the highlight of our trip to Cuba! The food that they served at the Finca was spectacular (especially the local lobster dinner feast)! We also went on a fantastic walking tour of the valley with Gilberto (the incredible staff who helps arrange activities and tours for the guests)! You should definitely go to Vinales and stay at Finca Media Luna. You will not be disappointed!

Wir hatten Zimmer 3. Super ausgestattet, gemütlich. Wer gerne außerhalb vom Tourirummel weilt, ist hier genau richtig. In die Stadt kommt man/frau ganz easy. In der Hängematte kann man kleine Schweinchen und Hühner beobachten. Das Essen ist prima, Frisches kommt aus dem eigenen Garten. Die guten Geister des Hauses waren total symphatisch und haben jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Wir haben uns super aufgehoben gefühlt. Von dort aus kann das Vinales Tal prima erkundet werden, sei es zu Pferd, zu Fuß, mit der Kutsche oder mit dem Fahrrad. Vorm großen Rummel bleibt man verschohnt. Wir haben wirklich ein kleines Stück Kuba kennengelernt. Ganz lieben Dank an alle, die uns diesen Teil der Reise so schön gestaltet haben. Wir wünschen Euch weiterhin ganz viele nette Gäste.

It has very peaceful and beautiful scenery !
It was nice stay at this place. They have English, French, Spanish speaking staff and they were all very nice and informative.

The property was beautiful, majestic views of he Valley, perfect accomodations, wonderful, staff, organic locally sourced meals. There is nothing left to want or need this place has it all.

MAGNIFIQUE ! Foncez et réservez :D
Pour notre première fois à Cuba, nous avons décidé de nous arrêter, pour notre deuxième étape sur cinq, deux nuits à Finca Media Luna à Viñales. Que dire à part WAOUH. Ce séjour de 3 jours fût parfait et ce, surtout grâce a l équipe de la casa Finca Media Luna. L emplacement de cette casa est à 5 kms du centre de Viñales donc très facile de s y rendre tant en journée qu en soirée mais quel bonheur pour nous de retourner au calme à la casa contrairement au centre ville où les casas sont en enfilade. La casa réunit tout ce qu il faut : un emplacement de rêve au calme entouré de la vallée de Viñales, un potager, une chambre double très propre (merci à la femme de chambre) et confortable et surtout une équipe merveilleuse ! Julio, le fils du propriétaire, parle très bien anglais et français en plus de l espagnol. Luis reflète «le» cubain par excellence avec sa bonne humeur, son sourire et son cigare. Tata, la cuisinière, est top ! Nous avons déjeuné, dîné et soupé a la casa et tout était délicieux. La langouste est à recommander ! Toute l équipe fait ce qu il faut pour que vous soyez bien et pour vous aider dans vos visites. Nous avions vraiment l impression d être en famille. Nous étions tellement bien que nous avons eu un gros pincement au coeur en quittant la casa et son équipe si merveilleuse ! Alors n hésitez plus, si vous voulez voir le VRAI Cuba, réservez à Finca Media Luna, vous ne serez que positivement surpris :)

Une casa a l écart du centre de vinales.. 2 min en taxi. Un cadre sublime. Des gens adorables. Un dîner succulent. Et une casa propre et jolie. Une balade à cheval idéal car la casa est déjà au milieu des champs. Nous recommandons à 100%

Finca Media Luna Made our Trip PERFECT!
This is a beautiful location just outside of town. It is quiet, beautiful and we loved the surrounding farms. The room was finished so nicely - lovely wood furniture and I liked the large bathroom and shower that were finished with rock walls and a big shower head. The property has a delightful outdoor pavilion for meals. The staff consists of a manager Luis who helps make sure everything is taken care of - meals, activities and he even helped my husband find one of the neat motorcycle helmets that the locals use when they scooter around. Julio the young man who serves the meals plans activities, and transportation speaks English very well and is so willing to help make sure your stay is fun and enjoyable. He even helped me get a ride on an ox cart, horse carriage, and a farmers horse buggy. They found us a guide who spoke English and took us all over the valley of Vanales. I loved the meals that TaTa prepared for us - breakfasts, lunch, and dinners whenever we need them. Make sure to figure out return transportation if you go into town late. This is a beautiful property with great hosts.
