"We left early due to the strong smell of marijuana inside the building. The staff was friendly enough however they did not enforce the no smoking policy. We did not get to enjoy the pool or breakfast due to the stench. We also were there to visit our granddaughter but we didn't dare bring her back to the hotel due to the people outside the doors smoking pot and the horrible smell in the hallways, which was obviously coming from the rooms. Upstairs was the worst. I understand it's legal but...

"Vibrant colors and comfortable lounge area with breakfast was nice. Free parking was excellent and easy to access.
Room was mostly clean but shampoo/conditioner had not been refilled before my stay and were not refilled on my cleaning day.
Staff were somewhat helpful but not as helpful as they could have been, especially regarding the snacks for purchase when they were not willing to point to something I was looking for even though I asked and instead let me find it myself."

"I booked Upjohn House but was told I had to come to Henderson Castle to get the keys, and I should stay there instead. It was nice enough, the setting of Henderson Castle is beautiful.
I had a lovely French breakfast my first morning, but when I came down the second morning, no one was around, I was told breakfast was from 6:30-9:30, and I was downstairs at 7:00. So no breakfast the second day, I was really disappointed as I left the place.

"First room we got the AC was broken and blowing hot air. It felt like a sauna. They switched us no problem. New Room was ok. Elevator was broken. Rooms were under construction and wide open leaving the dirty construction smell in the hallway. First glance rooms were clean but when you looked closer there was dust everywhere. The toilet seat was broken. The ceiling over the shower was bubbled like it had a leak from the room above. If you just need a place to sleep this is the place."

"Check in was super easy. The room was spacious, nicely decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. Great glass shower. The soap and shampoo products smelled very nice.
There were a lot of children in the hotel which deterred us from using the pool and hot tub and made the breakfast area a little chaotic, but the hotel kept up well. Breakfast had individual spinach egg quiches, biscuits and gravy, and the typical toast offerings and waffle iron. The staff were very nice and were working hard....
