"Room was warm AC did not work very well and also fans in bathroom don't work. I brought it up to front desk and all they said was fans don't work in bathroom. Didn't offer to fix it at all. In hallway outside room it was very hot no AC at all. Hotel is old and it shows"

"The staff has a good customer service skills like Mona, Jennifer, & the other pilipino lady with glasses. They always got people cleaning, making sure the property is clean. When I use to order foods for delivery, they always call me & let me know that my orders arrived. Even if there were times there were spiders & WiFi isn't excellent, I like this property. There are cats around there which is ok because I love cats & it's by the water as well I just like the location because it's by the water...

"The room was exceptionally clean and the furnishings very comfortable. I especially appreciated the wraparound blackout curtain because I need it really dark to be able to sleep well. Breakfast was basic, but adequate (muffins, toast, cereal, coffee, juice). I would definitely stay here again, especially for the price and convenient location."

"We chose Riu San Francisco due to the location near to the pick-up/drop-off for planned tours and that worked very well. The room was clean and housekeeping kept it clean during our 5-night stay. The rooms were a bit noisy and not well insulated for sound. The touristy neighborhood around the hotel was dirty…. not the fault of Riu because their areas were very clean, but once you leave the hotel, not so much. The very best part of our stay was the breakfast buffet that we enjoyed every morning!...
