"The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a lovely old house in the old part of Athens. The room was clean and comfortable and spacious. There was a small balcony with table and chairs overlooking a square. We expected it may be noisy because Plaka is such a busy area, but were pleasantly surprised that it quieted down soon after 10 pm."

"The perfect location for exploring this wonderful city - Plaka is central to everything and we used the metro and trams and occasional taxis when necessary. Bear in mind the street is pedestrianised so be prepared to lug your cases a little way plus there is no lift in the hotel. The area is entirely safe - we wandered around a lot, even late at night, and never felt uncomfortable. "Excellent location. Close to Syntagma square and a lot of restaurants. Room was clean and extremely spacious. Free coffee machine and fridge in the room. You can ask for more coffee pods and cream from the staff during the work hours. There is also utensils provided (cups, mugs, plates, cutleries). Big table with a sink in the room, excellent for some simple washing. Staff was very friendly. The only down side is that there were a LOT of mosquitoes in the room even after we closed all windows...
