"We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is right opposite the lake, which is nice for walks, and there is a beach area. We had a hire car (parking was 8 euros a night) but if we hadn't, the tram line was close by. We had a studio room with a small kitchen area, which meant we could self-cater if we wanted - the fridge was really handy. The pool area was a nice addition but very small - only 4 sun loungers, and the pool wasn't very big. There was a lovely restaurant (La Ferme) a couple of...

"We loved our stay here. The hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance of parks, shops, restaurants, the tram and the river. The room was comfortable and clean and we even had a view over the city rooftops. The concierge was friendly and helpful. Bordeaux is a wonderful, fun city and Hotel de Normandie is an ideal base for exploring the area"
