Spectacular village south of Viseu.

Amazing village tucked away in a beautiful valley. It would have been a wonderful place to relax and explore the countryside on foot. It is great to see that an interest has been taken in trying to restore a piece of Portugal's history in this village. We wish them success.

O HOTEL fica numa zona muito calma e agradável. As casas são típicas e bem recuperadas. No entanto a casa precisava de limpeza pois tinha algum pó. Precisava também de manutenção, como por exemplo o autoclismo que deitava água constantemente. A área envolvente também precisa de limpeza e manutenção, como é o caso da piscina.

Empfehlenswerte Location in Portugal

Waren im Rahmen unserer Portugal-Rundreise in Póvoa Dão. Ist eine sehr tolle Region. Leider hat unser Navi (Garmin Nüvü mit aktuellen Kartenmaterial) den Ort nicht gefunden, iPhone/Google maps aber gleich. Das Dorf ist sehr schön und verwunschen mit Weinbergen drum herum. Straße ist rechtlich holperig, dass gehört aber in einem historischen Ort dazu. Also langsam fahren. Wohnung ist sehr schön. Bad sauber, Bett gut. Leider hat man auf der Küchenplatte und dem Fernseher Streifen von "einfach mal mit irgend einem Lappen drüber gewischt" gesehen. Kleinigkeit, kann man leicht abstellen. Ansonsten netter Pool und Tennisplatz. Recht versteckt, hat aber seinen eigenen Charme. Haben ein paar schöne kurze Wanderungen in der Umgebung gemacht. Sehr wenig touristisch und authentisch. Toll. Frühstück war gut, Abendessen im Restaurant toll.

Rustikale Wohnungen in Feriendorf. Schöne umgebung und schönes Restaurant. In Nebensaison war Restaurant extra für uns geöffnet.

Historical village all to yourself.

The cottages, the restaurant, the amenities, and the service are all fantastic and at a very reasonable price. This must be Portugal’s best kept secrete. Only negative is that it’s very hard to find. Best to have a good GPS to avoid circling needlessly.

Heel verrassend

Het was te kort om een ervaring te delen, maar we zijn zeker van plan om hier nog eens terug te komen en te gaan genieten van de omgeving. Op het appartement was niets aan te merken, noch op het personeel. Het diner in het restaurant was ook bijzonder goed en verrassend.

Great Experience!

Very charming village atmosphere. The living quarters were in great shape and very clean. It provided an old world charm with the benefit of being new. Very good dining experience. Food was excellent. Nice pool. The trails were very nice but could have been marked better. We made several wrong turns and the entire trail took about 3.5 hours to complete. Lack of trail markings was the only negative about the entire stay. We wish we would have stayed longer to enjoy the accommodations.
