"For our purposes, seeing a friend in Mira Mesa and visiting UCSD, it was a great location. The hot/cold breakfast was very useful and quick with quality food before heading out for the day. Great location if you have a car. Besides the UCSD campus, it is an easy drive to other highlights of San Diego and shopping is nearby if you need anything. I would stay here again, no problem."

"Not at all what we expected - for the price we thought this was more of a luxury hotel. Athough the grounds were beautiful, it wasn't the right place for us for a getaway birthday weekend - overrun with kids and super expensive for no reason. The room was nice, but older decor and not as nice as I expected for the price. I would have brought my kids there when they were young - lots to do - but you can do better as a couple looking to get away."
