"Great property with even a private rainforest trail. Lots of maintenance effort to make this place a great home away from home. Room is perfect, feel like living in a forest."

"This charming property is incredibly well maintained and the staff go above and beyond. All the extras we added on were worth it. Its a very special spot that I would recommend to anyone."

"Clean room, quiet place to stay, very close to Volcano National park."

"We loved our stay. Very nice setup."

"Excellent host snd lovely accomodations"

"This hotel is more like a rental house than typical hotel. There are only eight or so rooms and each one has nice views with privacy. There is no staff on site but you can contact them is needed. "The property was clean, the staff was very attentive to ensure we had what we needed, and the checkout was very easy."

"Cute mom-and-pop property in a great location near Volcanoes National Park. It felt more like staying in a little house in the rainforest than a hotel. A little rustic, but in a good way. Hearing the birds and other animals at night made it really special. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!"

"Beautiful place to stay while visiting the volcano area"

"Great place to stay while visiting volcano national park."

The Gecko room is comfortable and perfect for family and longer stays. The surrounding is quiet and close to stores,...

"Great place "

"This is a wonderful place to stay in Puna. It is in the heart of the area and they regularly host events, which can be fun to attend. They have a cafe at the reception area with some healthy food options, mostly pre-made."

"limited electricity so there’s not much light at night and no hot water in room."

"It is an amazing place; the owner really loves her job, and I would 10/10 recommend staying here. It has a very nice location, and the breakfast was spot on."

"There was bugs everywhere. Thankfully they let us switch to another property."

"House was well cleaned and maintained. Sarge was very friendly. House was very quiet and peaceful. Will definitely stay there again"
