"I don’t normally write reviews but Hotel Minos was an excellent experience all around "

"Wir hatten drei Nächte in einem Zimmer mit Meerblick und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber, wie es auch das gesamte Hotel war. Das Personal war stets freundlich. Es gab ein reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet, das täglich wechselnde Speisen anbot, herzhaft und süß. Mir hat besonders gefallen, dass es schon zum Frühstück einen griechischen Salat und Tzatziki, bzw. eine andere, leckere Joghurt-Creme mit Dill und Zwiebeln (?) und Nüssen (?) gab. "Herrliches Panorama über das libysche Meer mit riesiger gemütlicher Terrasse. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet und sehr freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Personal. Das Zimmer ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es gibt keinen Lift, aber das ist gutes Training. Die Altstadt und der Strand sind binnen Minuten zu Fuss zu erreichen, Supermarkt neben an."

"Preis Leistung passt super. Es sind einfache Zimmer mit kleinem Balkon im 1.Stock. für weit unter 50€ die Nacht mit Frühstück, kann man nicht meckern. "

"Die Einrichtung des Hotels ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnte ein Fresh-up benötigen. Allerdings: die Aussicht von dem kleinen Balkon über die gesamte Bucht ist überwältigend! Das Bad ist relativ neu und gut ausgestattet, die Eigentümer unfassbar freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel liegt weit oberhalb der Bucht, weshalb ein steiler Anstieg vom Strand oder Hafen erforderlich ist. Das sorgt für Fitness und ist nicht schlimm, aber man muss es wissen "

"Très bon accueil. Appartements au calme. Les chambres sont grandes et bien équipées, la literie est confortable. Un lit parapluie est disponible gratuitement sur demande. Climatisation fonctionnelle. Uniquement accessible en voiture. Le village d'Agia Galini est situé à 5 min en voiture."

"Ottima struttura per soggiornare a Matala. Bella la zona piscina. Comoda per visitare il centro. La colazione ha prodotti non sempre eccellenti ma il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo."

"We stayed in a standard room in the main building and it was so lovely! The breakfast was awesome and the walk down to the village was convenient. This hotel has a lovely restaurant attached with great food. Zaros Lake is just around the corner. My favorite part was the spring water running down the side of the road. A very lovely village to visit on your trip around Crete."

"The house was a lovely old Cretan house renovated to a high standard, and Popi was a wonderful, helpful, and knowledgeable host - really friendly and full of suggestions of where to go next. You will need to have a car to get around as it is not at all central, and do not expect a modern building - but it was full of character and the aircon worked very well, so in my eyes it was perfect! I would happily stay here again, and hope to do so some day in the coming years."

"It was an amazing place, the garden we loved it and the view every morning having breakfast and watching sunset just woow. I really recommend it for everyone and if you live there you really need to taste the food at the restaurant Windy Place, very good service felt like home."
