"We had no complaints at all - the rooms were very comfortable, and the Dinner and Breakfast meals were a delight to eat. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. We will be definitely coming back again when we venture north."

"King Deluxe Room was VERY spacious - capacity when booking online says 2ppl but would fit another 1-2 rollaway beds (if it was available) for kids up to 12-15yrs, or even a small round dining table as a place to eat. "Well, it was quiet a surprise for an older building. Room was very fresh, had everything i needed, jug toaster, microwave. Coffee and tea supplies, even a biscuit or two. enjoyed my chocolate left on the bed. I had dinner at the bistro, Tuesday night is steak night, and it was cooked to perfection."

The toilet seat was broken, the shower head was falling apart, and the curtains were useless resulting in being woken up with the sunrise. Everything else was good. Was very disappointed with the service after checking out and we had left an expensive item in the room. Took several days with phone calls, an email and several staff members to even action a look in the room or asking housekeeping. My item was not returned so therefore stolen/taken by either housekeeping or the next guests in the room. So disappointing! If actioned...

"Our room was big and very comfortable, with a well equipped kitchenette. We could have cooked all of our meals there had we been staying there longer. The shuttle service back to Brisbane airport was very convenient."
