"We arrived on a Monday so we didn't need room cleaned on Tuesday morning. But we returned from the beach and got a lot of sand on the floor so I went to the desk and asked for room to be cleaned. Housekeeping was gone for the day so I asked the man at the desk if we could get room cleaned in the a. m. and he said yes. Went fishing on Wednesday and when we returned the room had not been cleaned. I went to front desk to let them know so housekeeping mgr came to see if we wanted room cleaned. Yes please! While we were at dinner she brought towels but room never did get cleaned. That's never happened to us before."

"Pool was supposed to be heated. It was cold. Water damage on the floor they put us on and there were dehumidifiers in the hall. It smelled awful. The carpets were terribly stained. Will not stay here again. Staff was extremely nice though. Loved the pastry man in the breakfast area. "

"I would have rated 5 overall but took off 1 star because the water pressure in showers was extremely disappointing… very hard to rinse soap and shampoo fro body. Adequate water pressure is extremely important to me and my husband and this was very lacking Other than that we were otherwise very happy with our stay"

"Three was no closet in my suite no way to hang up clothes. The floor tilt was cracked in one place. when i attempted to dry my hair with the hair dryer the entire thing pulled out of the wall. other than that it was nice. great staff. location. comfortable beds. breakfast not so hot"

"The place was as advertised though the because of the size and layout of the room and the very small kitchen, I wouldn't recommend 6 people in a room. There were only 2 of us in a room for 6 and we were comfortable, we used the bunk beds to store baggage. We lost several hours of our vacation time trying to confirm our reservations because of a booking problem with Expedia (they said everything was fine but the hotel had no record of our reservation) but the person at the desk when we arrived was very helpful in resolving the issue. Unfortunately the people staying in the next room couldn't go elsewhere to smoke their dope and stunk up the entire 6th floor, the elevator and the stairwell. We couldn't enjoy the beach view from the balcony or leave our door open because of the smell. This was no fault of the hotel though they should have tracked down the problem sooner. The hotel is very conveniently located near many shops and restaurants. And it's steps from the beach!! I would stay here again."
