"This is a great place with great people. No this is not a 5 star accommodation, but it was clean, the staff is great and it’s just the right mix of rustic and creature comforts."

"There was a bit of confusion on check in as they have two lobby’s and one accomodation section on the marina and another facing to pool area. We went to one but we were staying in the other. I was unwell and just wanted to go to the room but we were kept waiting some time and then eventually walked down to the other lobby and as we went I was told we had a room upgrade and we were in a premium room now and got given the key to that room…and then we got to the other lobby and they took that key...

"We had no hot water during our stay. The staff had no idea what was happening. They kept lying to us that we will get hot water soon. Breakfast was terrible. No choices."

"The staff was always friendly and engaging but the service wise at the bars and restaurants was slow. It takes ages before they will reach out and offer a drink or food menu. The hotel doesnt provide any tours and doesn’t collaborate with the travel agencies to offer such services. They dont have any entertainment either, it feels like you stay in the retirement community. 🙃 It is centrally located within the walking distance to the major institutions and downtown area."

"The hotel is in a very bad condition with no proper amenities, very dirty bed and room. White Bedsheets are brown in colour. Rooms are booked with breakfast included where there is nothing to eat in breakfast except bread, water and juice. The hygiene is very bad"

"The property is in the heart of the city with 24/7 security. The staff is very welcoming and have charming personalities. Parking is on fifth floor, can be a bit tricky turning tight corners. However,the shower pressure was a bit low 🚿"

"I was initially in another, similarly priced, hotel in Suva that was so unpleasant I decided to move. Capricorn was such a relief - the room is spacious, bright, well layed out and the view is spectacular. It was great to have an outdoor porch and to have the opportunity to prepare simple meals. The location was also excellent. Just up the hill from the main downtown shopping area so food courts and other restaurants were easy to access. "The on night duty staff was making a lot of noise making video call and talking that loud. staff bring there kids at the work place when we try to have a rest they have been making a lot of noise and running around the area, so we couldn’t rest well."
