"Clean , warm, convenient."

"Our room was clean and well appointed. It was an adequate size with a separate bathroom. The place is a little dated but clean and comfortable. The bed was a generous size and was comfortable. Unfortunately we were in the corner unit 1 to the left of the reception area and the outlook was the back of the office with cleaining equipment and rubbish bins. We didn't spend anytime outside so it wasn't an issue but I would recommend requesting a room in the middle of the complex if...

"Stunning Property. Beautiful location and gardens. Sue is an excellent host. Great breakfast and excellent coffee."

"Clean, functional, comfortable bed. Good selection of tea, coffee, etc."

"The room is clean, the motel is on the side of road and it is easy to find out. The staff is very friendly and helpful"

"Room was separated from shower room and toilet room (assigned to the bedroom, so no sharing required) and you had to access shower and toilet from the common hallway. All rooms were clean as was the common kitchen and sitting room area. The owners were quite nice as were the other guests. Parking was free. We liked the place as it was very quiet during the night. A place to recommend and revisit if back in the area."

"Good stay, good host"

"Amazing staff and facilities are currently being updated. The hot pools were a nice feature."

"The beds were very old and the springs were gone and it was hard. The bathroom floor was rotting and the shower was spraying through the curtain."

"The owners were very nice. The suite was very comfortable. A small continental breakfast was included and there were other amenities available. The location was fantastic. Only 15 minutes max from Hobbiton, which was the main reason we stayed in the area. View was beautiful."

"Wish we had read the reviews. We probably wouldn't have booked. Definitely not value for money. No real amenities, not even a bar of soap in our ensuite room. No tv, pretty much a bed and towels. Water was lukewarm in shower and we were worried it was going to flood until hubby used his foot as a plunger for drain . Pub music only played till 11pm thank goodness."

"We had a really lovely stay and would happily recommend this place to other travellers. ❤️ The room was clean, comfortable and well presented, which made it easy to relax after a busy day. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The outdoor pool was also a great bonus perfect for relaxing and enjoying some downtime. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and felt well looked after. If you’re planning a trip, this is definitely a place worth considering! ✨"
