"The Grand Argyle Resort & Villas was a beautiful location. Our room was very clean and spacious. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. There was a pool table located upstairs and an outdoor pool, however, it was not clean enough to enter. We did enjoy walking around the property and site seeing. The area offers spectacular views! I would recommend this hotel to others! "

"Det var som att bo i en plåtlåda bredvid en motorväg. Det fanns inga skydd mot myggor och det var hål mellan väggar och tak. Duschen fungerade väldigt dåligt. Bilderna ljuger en del om stället. Fina vyer men poolen smutsig. "

"Fantastic property and fantastic experience. We have nothing but high praise. Loved the family unit with the tent on top and separate room downstairs for the kids. Here’s a word of warning though regarding getting there….its not an easy ride up from the village on a very narrow very poorly maintained road. Not for the faint hearted. It also takes a good 30 minutes especially if you need to use the tuk tuks to get up."

The hostess made delicious Sri Lankan meals for us, cut a path down to the river so we could swim in the natural pool just minutes from the tree house, and the place is so unusual. We were in the treetops with LOADS of monkeys swinging around. We felt totally safe and well looked after."
