The public spaces were pretty clean and tidy. The dining room waitstaff were very accommodating, but the front desk clerk was a bit less than friendly and engaging. Our bathroom, while very clean, was not fully supplied with necessities. The location was beautiful! The outdoor fire pits were an especially nice added touch.

The rooms were nice and clean, bed super comfy. Might need to ask for a second soap bar for the bathroom, but other than that things were great! The staff were super helpful and kind. It was the perfect crash pad for our beach trip!

The room was very clean. If you get a water view its outstanding. The rest is parking lot. Really like the on-site restaurant and bar. Word is new ownership took over everything just a couple of months ago and they have a ton of work to do. Eventually its gonna have a better appeal. Front desk staff and restaurant and bar were really helpful.

Such a peaceful stay. I will say, there were a lot of scratches on furniture and an orange spot in tub that makes me think it was not cleaned but I wm very low maintenance so I overlooked it. I booked cuz expedia said they had a pool but their pool is not open. But I had a lovely stay! I got a room with the bay view and I just loved it! No breakfast

This has been a struggling property over the last couple of decades. I am excited to see that the current owners are making improvements. The accommodations are clean but simple. The view of the bridge over the Alsea Bay is wonderful. Everything works fine, the bed comfortable, however much work needs yet to be done to the rooms the landscaping and the building exterior. The staff was friendly and courteous. We are excited to see the improvements and hope that this property will be successful as it does add a lot to the Waldport Community. I hear the restaurant is good, unfortunately I had not the time to check it out. We will use the Hotel again, and recommend it to our friends and family.

This hotel is the worst place we've ever stayed. Dirty grounds, filthy rooms, everything on the property was out of order including the pool advertised. The front desk lady was rude asking me "what do you want" when I arrived for my pre reserved room The Restaurant on site is a joke. The drinking glasses served to us were dirty and the had to be sent back. The food was disgusting and inedible.

We only stayed one night. The gentleman at check in was great! Room was clean. Please be prepared to sweat! No A/C, just a small ceiling fan. Had to leave the windows open for air but we were right by the front door so it was a bit noisy. Also, the attached restaurant is a rip off. Child sized meals for a fortune!! Glad it was only 1 night.

Pool was closed. In July. No air conditioning but rooms have ceiling fans. Ours did not work. So we opened the windows. But one had no screen. No breakfast--restaurant doesn't serve breakfast. Dinner at restaurant was good--mostly pasta entrees. No bread served with pasta however. Will look for someplace different next visit to Waldport.

This property is in desperate need of maintenance. Everything was falling apart. Has shag carpet from the 80s still. There were stains on our comforter. One of the more depressing hotels I have stayed in. Also, not sure why they built an outdoor pool on the oregon coast. Is only warm enough to use a couple hours a day 1 month out of the year. Will be back once an extensive remodel has occurred lol staff was very pleasant!

The room was nice and clean but some things needed fixed for safety. Toilet seat partially broken and despite being very careful it completely broke while I was on it! Also I scraped my ankle 2 times on a sharp price of the bed frame that was sticking out

The place was really run down on the outside. No working pool or hot tub. I never tried the restaurant because it wasn't open in the morning and closed before returning. On the positive side the room was fairly clean, much better than the outside looked.

The property seems really run down, not very clean, small rooms, tiny bathrooms with shower heads that come out of the wall at your chest. Toilet seats are almost coming off. Out in the middle of nowhere, no food delivery, no restaurant, nothing. Feels like you are caught up in the movie, The Shining. Staff was nice but the place is no to the bueno.
