"We absolutely loved the old grandeur of this building - with surviving furniture and decor. Everything was old and glorious - i dont mind rough around the edges as this in itself tells a story of survival against the odds! These old buildings are very expensive to upkeep so the exterior needs attention, as does window frames. I can only wish that the property owner is budgeting for ongoing upgrades. Also the reception closes early and had to ring a couple of times before I got an answer to be able to get a code for the after hours box. But overall a good place to stay close to the middle of town"
