"The room was clean and comfortable, in a great location with excellent views. The name “Marine Terrace Apartments” was a little misleading for the studio room we booked, as it was more like a compact hotel room rather than a self-contained apartment. We had expected facilities such as a kitchenette, small lounge, and dining area, which were not included. That said, the stay was still enjoyable overall, and the staff were friendly and helpful."

"We had a wonderful stay at The Moorings. In fact so lovely that we booked in again on our way back from Queenstown. Darren was very welcoming, he gave us some good tips for our travel routes and we had some great chats - a lovely guy. The property itself was very comfortable, well maintained, quiet, clean and had a lovely view of the lake. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils. Highly recommend!"

"We arrived late at night due to unforeseen circumstances and had a difficult time getting into our room. No one was in the office and it was closed, so we had to knock on the door until someone came. They seemed very annoyed, but told us that our key was already in our room and the room was unlocked. We didn’t love that the room was accessible to anyone before we got there. The place itself was good. There was milk in the fridge and a couple of cookies. No frills place but it got the job done just fine!"
