"Lovely, lovely. The proprietors and cook are friendly and considerate. There are many interesting features in the home, its decor, and the gardens. Our room (the Belvedere) was spacious—bedroom with sitting area, bathroom, living room with sitting area. The delicious breakfast was multiple courses and served on authentic heirloom quality dishes. The surrounding village, forest, and lakes are beautiful. A magical stay."
"Good spot. Breakfast is great! Convenient check in options for check in after reception hours. No 24/7 front desk. Didn't have a kettle or silverware in the room but ot was no problem getting some from the staff. Very friendly!
The pillows were pretty bad, super soft with feathers and no other options in the room. Pillows and the two single mattresses instead of one big one would be my only complaint. But also standard for Germany and personal preference."

"Wir haben nur eine Nacht auf der Durchreise hier verbracht und waren sehr angenehm überrascht. Wir haben nicht damit gerechnet, abseits der Hauptstrecke ein so angenehmes Hotel zu finden. Große gemütliche Zimmer, gutes Frühstück, Möglichkeit zu einem Spaziergang zur Burg - es passte alles. Gerne wieder!"
