The location was absolutely perfect for my needs. I travel here for work, and it's conveniently a 5-minute walk to my office in Old Town. The space was clean, quiet, and made my business trip very stress-free. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay here. It is right on King Street. It is about a 15 minute walk from the Amtrak station. We entered the building with a code and used the same one for our room. The room was big. There is a kitchen with a table for two. There is a dishwasher, sink, fridge, microwave and stove. There is also a sink. The bathroom is the latest style and a heated floor. Our bed was comfortable and looked out over the courtyard.

We had 205, the one bedroom. It was narrow but plenty of room, clean and comfortable. Fantastic location in the heart of old town. Everything walkable.

This place was a true gym needle in the haystack it was decorated amazingly the location was perfect we will be staying there every chance we get when we come back to Alexandria Old town. And one surprise we found is that the bathroom floors are heated that was awesome

Cute loft in the heart of Alexandria

Great place for a solo or couple. The studio was very clean and very comfortable. The bed was great. I appreciated the community from the property prior to my arrival. Entrance to the unit was very easy. I will happily book here again.

This properly is in a great location. It is clean and spacious and it has a nice kitchen. There are lots of dining and shopping options nearby. There is a free trolley that runs up and down King Street. We woul definitely stay here again.

I had no problems with this being a self service property. I felt safe at all times and the space was clean and stylish. The location and price were excellent. The public areas on the upper floors could use a little refresh (carpet and paint) and the room could have used a bath mat and a hand towel but those are my only quibbles. Would definitely stay again.

Great location for accessing DC. Near public transit and plenty of shops around for food and other goods. Room was clean and the heater worked well. Nice bathroom. I wasn’t too bothered by the urban noise although my stay was during the week not the weekend. Typical sounds for a city. Bed was comfortable. Would stay here again!

Noisy but comfortable

Nice building and room was comfortable except for the handicapped shower and single pane windows. The shower was relatively small and water of course went well out onto the bathroom floor. The windows are so thin, you basically hear everything on King Street. Maybe other rooms off King are quieter but I’d never stay in room 400 again. Hard to relax when you hear all the street noise and the tequila bar patrons across the street.

Overall this was a nice hotel. We had a studio. The bathroom felt oddly conspicuous, just frosted glass walls separating that part of the room from the rest, but otherwise it was nice. It did feel a little disconcerting being fully self-service but we knew that was the arrangement when we reserved the room so I can't really complain about that. All in all, it was a very clean, adequate space at a good price. Would stay there again.

Good for the price

Cute and comfortable room, easy to get in, nice kitchen. The hvac is very loud with the vent over the bed blasting all night. The hallway strongly smelled like a sewer, luckily that didn’t permeate into the room.

Nice place, but much smaller than pictures portray. Mushy foam bed. One small chair about 12 inches off the floor. No comfortable seating. Range hood sticks out so far, be careful not to hit your head. If you’re 6 foot tall, avoid it. Can’t beat the great location

Be Prepared!

I thought that I had pre-registered my details on the Sonder app. I hadn't completed it fully before my arrival, as a condequence, I never received the email with access codes to get into the building and with no reception or staff on site that was an issue! I managed to resolve this after about an hour and was pleasantly surprised by the appartment, which was spacious and clean, perfect for a couple, however it would start to feel quite cosy for 4 adults. Great location for shops restuarants and bars. Would I stay there again - yes!

This Sonder location has a lot of work that needs to be done. Paint was chipping off the ceiling and the window seals. There were no hand or face towels. I had to go over to the Ross to purchase so faced so I can wash my face and body. The television streaming apps did not work. And because the building is so old the smell. There really needs to be some really deep cleaning done. And probably the worst of it all is that all of the linen were in totes Along the walls in the hallway. It was just not a well kept space. The perks however, are that the community is walkable. You can get good dining options and shopping options and it’s not far From a waterway that has other dining options, as well.
