"Clean, cool, spacious room, comfortable bed. Easy convenient parking. Excellent nights sleep thank you. My only complaint is poor quality coffee at breakfast."

"We stayed for 2 nights and had our dog with us we had a lovely room with doors that opened onto a small patio and garden which was ideal for us. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent, nicely presented and tasted lovely. I would definitely stay there again."

"Unfortunately it was not an enjoyable stay and the staff were not interested. The beds were clean but that was about it. Windows, wall skirting, ceilings all dirty, stained and lots of cobwebs. Breakfast was okay. We have no water pressure so the shower went cold very quickly. Then would be warm again one there was a bit of pressure. "The hotel is incredible! We were greeted at the front desk by friendly staff who were very helpful in storing our luggage until our check in time and pointing the way to the bus station so we could explore Hadrian’s Wall that morning. Upon our return we were greeted by more friendly staff and directed to our room. When we opened the door our reaction was “Wow! What a great place!” The rooms were spacious and decorated beautifully.
