"Our stay at De Durgerdam was fantastic from beginning to end. Set in a beautiful historic house just outside Amsterdam, this boutique hotel has a unique personality, blending old-world charm with elegant, intimate design.
Its peaceful setting makes it a wonderful escape from the bustle of the city. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, take in the surroundings, and truly enjoy every moment.
We absolutely loved our room: beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and full of lovely details....

"We only stayed one night but we greatly enjoyed our stay! The hotel is clean and bright, and we enjoyed the sauna and pool. The beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly and welcoming. It's a little way into the main city centre, but we rented bikes and no problems getting around. Highly recommend!"

"The room was good, the bed was hard and the pillows not great. The room was clean, as was the rest of the property that we saw.
Unbeknownst to us there is a club on the top floor. 9pm on a Wednesday night the music started and kept going until past midnight, which made it hard to sleep. We did complain to the staff and they said that they had had a few complaints about it.
The place was a little way out of the city, further than I had thought when booking it. The train line was just down the...

"Het was een zeer kleine kamer, aan het hoofdeinde van het bed lag stof op het plankje. Het hoofdkussen rook niet fris. Lijkt niet schoongemaakt te zijn? We kwamen rond 00:40uur aan, misschien dacht men dat we niet meer kwamen.
Het personeel was vriendelijke en behulpzaam bij aankomst. Voor de rest zag de kamer en het hotel er goed uit."

"We were very impressed with the hotel and would return on another trip. The location is perfect. An easy walk from the Central train station and is in the centre of Amsterdam city area. Staff were excellent, the on site part is award winning, and the bed was incredibly comfortable.
One note: If you have anything to speak with the hotel about before your stay, please contact them directly and not through Expedia. We were arriving early in the morning, so booked a room for the prior night. I...
