"The location was excellent , a short walk to shops, Barangaroo and circular Quay. While the main entrance of the hotel is grand , the room was quite rundown and poorly maintained. The bathroom grout and corners were very dirty and repair work was done poorly , with badly done patch up jobs. The buffet breakfast was disappointing for a 5 star hotel . No pancake / waffle station . The waffles muffins and doughnuts weren’t even made in house but poor quality packet ones. The bread was also terrible , just mass produced processed sliced bread . No fresh baguettes or sourdough. Staff did the minimum, rarely cracked a smile or offered a warm greeting . Disappointing for a 5 star hotel"
