"Rooms are spacious, bed does split in the middle when you’re laying on it or do any big movement, though is super comfy. Blinds are not black out, you still see light coming through the middle gap or sides. The common areas are really nice. Staff are welcoming and free parking available on the road right outside hotel if you’re not wanting to pay for parking. "

"Pricing good and our overall stay was ok. On arrival we were met at the gate by a man( we weren’t sure where to enter, two different signs) who was unsmiling, abrupt and over the course of 2 days not overly helpful. Car park is terrible, dirty around outside of shower cubicle at the bottom. Kitchen amenities woeful, lift not cleaned daily, same rubbish in it for 2 days. "Liked it was close to airport - and had an airport shuttle!! All staff I met were welcoming and helpful - especially registration! Beds comfy and immaculate!! Bathrooms large and spotless! Would stay again!!"

"Easy parking and reasonably secure. Even though the motel is on the very busy Great North Road we didn't hear traffic noise. Rooms were spotless. A few more kitchen utensils would be handy, such as a microwave oven dish. Overall a very pleasant three night stay."

"Clean, comfortable room. Milk for my early morning coffee and lots of local tv to view first thing. The staff was very accommodating and willing to help with or questions or requests. The food selection in the restaurant was excellent and delicious. And the service staff went extra steps to make sure we were satisfied. Also have to say thank you to the servers and tenders in the Rumpus Room, our evenings were very relaxing. Great staff all around, makes for a great stay."

"Staff discriminated against my partner when he tried to check in. We were treated well by the manager once I laid a complaint. The man on the after hour phone service was unhelpful and rude. We did get two nights complimentary but suggest staff undergo cultural competency training. "

"We had a lovely stay. Michael was so friendly, our room was absolutely gorgeous, clean, and comfortable. Despite not technically having breakfast included, there was a very nice communal full kitchen and a great selection of toast, cereals, spreads, and milk available for all, as well a nice espresso machine. Very conveniently located near the Remuera train station. The gazebo/sun-room was absolutely gorgeous in the mornings. We felt very at home! "
