"Convenience: located within the medieval walls of Rothenburg. The valet parked our car, and we walked everywhere. Close to restaurants, activities, and shops. Runs a little like a BNB. Beautiful: the area is gorgeous, and the hotel is 750+ years old, which makes it charming and interesting. Food: dinner is amazing - the best meal we had in Germany and Austria on a 2-week trip. NOTE: the restaurant closes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so make an effort to get there on the other days - well worth...

"Excellent location and beautiful hotel. We were there during the heat wave and there’s no AC. It was probably 80 degrees in our room. The staff was very nice to give us an extra table fan but it was still very hot until 4 am when it cooled off outside. We opened all of the windows and propped the front door. It was cooler in the hallway than our room. I would still stay there again, we might just buy our own fans next time."

"This is a very nice hotel. We were lucky to get a room with AC and grateful for that given the heat! The breakfast is nice though not as extensive as some other places we stayed in Germany. "We were visiting during a heat wave in Europe. This hotel is a historic building so there is no AC. The young man that works there made sure we had 2 fans which were helpful. The breakfast was great. The WiFi was not great. Other than that, this hotel is a short walk from the train station and perfect location inside the medieval wall. I would definitely go back-- just not during a heat wave again."
