Beautiful beach and surrounding area. The hike up to the peak is great. The food is amazing. Also a great place for solo travels in the dorms. The staff are helpful and friendly!
A picture perfect slice of heaven. Water was crystal clear and excellent snorkelling immediately in front of the resort. Bure was tidy and comfortable. No aircon which wasn’t an issue at the time that we stayed as the weather was lovely and not too hot. The staff were amazing, could not be more helpful and hospitable in every way. Kids club was small but my 8 yr old had the best time due to the wonderful staff. Food was good with a decent amount of variety. Would highly recommend and intend to be back again.
The Octopus Resort far exceeded our expectations. The resort staff are wonderful! I had the most memorable birthday on the beach. The kava ceremony was fun and entertaining. Snorkeling with my 6 year old right off the beach was incredible. The hike to the top of the island was insanely beautiful and a fun challenge. Netball might be my new favorite sport. The food was very good. A lot more variety than we expected. The visit to the village and school was incredibly special. The children were so friendly and sweet. What a magical life it must be to grow up in such a beautiful place. We are so happy that we chose to stay there. Vinaka Vinaka Vinaka!
Absolutely amazing beach and location! Stayed for 5 night in points villa #3, what a lovely accommodation! Resort property is charming and well maintained. We did not have any issues and concerns, even it was a bit a construction close to a restaurant and second bar was closed, that did not bother us it all. Great dining options, dinner is a like a cruise ship style with chef's specials and all dishes are well presented. All staff is extremely friendly.
Special thanks to all service stuff for keeping our villa spotless, main Chef who was making sure we had a great lobster dinner (ordered separately) experience and guys from dive shop who provided a seamless boat tender transportation and snorkeling trips (I definitely recommend night snorkeling).
I will absolutely recommend Octopus resort to my family and friends!
Everything. The Octopus was memorable, relaxing and welcoming. From the charming bures to cheerful service. And the beauty of the water is unsurpassed.
Loved the location and daily Yoga. The food was amazing and all the staff do a fabulous job.

Beach bar was under constraction during our stay, daily from 8:00 am to 5 pm. Restaurant, pool, beach areas were all involved with construction noise. The worst thing is: We got no information about this before check-in. There was only a short sorry for this.

Le bure 20 bruyant car entre la cuisine qui a des horaires tardifs et à l aube , et le centre de plongée
Nourriture très chère et les prix ne sont pas affichés
Great experience, lovely island.
Staff very friendly, food is good.
Snorkelling off the beach (can't swim at low tide)
Keep in mind need to pay for boat ride to and from. Need to purchase the meal plan, not included in price.
They don't accept Amex.

Olika aktiviter. Pool och bar. Öl 10 FJD, milkshake 12 FJD. Wi-fi fungerade dåligt men gratis. Man fick sitta utanför reception för bästa täckning.sanden på stranden extremt fin och skön. Korallrev har tyvärr dött men färgglada fiskar och såg liten stingrocka.
Beautiful location. We loved the beachside bar, villas overlooking the ocean, the incredibly comfortable outdoor sofas and all the activities. The trip to snorkel with Manta Rays was incredible, kayaking and the village visit were nice as well. The food was good, though service was often slow for lunches and dinners when it was a la carte (vs buffet).
Was a great trip a way, would definitely recommend. The house reef was awesome for snorkelling, the diving was great, and a shark dive just around the corner. Our room was great, even though the evenings were a bit hard as there was no air con, we knew that, but didn’t realise how uncomfortable it was actually going to be.
Food was yum, and plenty of activities for everyone.
All in all, a great place!!!
Great location, but not clean and indifferent staff. Suggest finding another location in Yasawas. Sister resort- Paradise Cove (same owner), is wonderful.
Octopus Resorts given me a very disappointed & unhappy holiday.
1). I had been requested the resort to prepare a birthday cake prior arrival & the replied “yes, we can arrange”. After arrived the resort & the cake has also confirmed by resort employee. But on the dinner, we noted the birthday cake was sent to another table. When I ask to resort personnel, the answer is “the resort office did not inform them”. It is total not acceptable and seen the services between Black-haired Asian and Golden-hair Foreigner are different.
2). One of the rooms (Room#19), both main & toilet entry doors are not sufficiently high and caused few times to impact the door frames. Complained to resort and the replied is needs to pay extra to upgrade the room.
Stayed in a beach front bure and loved every minute of it. Great snorkelling right of the beach. You can feel the level of comfort according to the price you pay but it was really worth it.
