Helpful staff accommodated a request to switch to ground floor accommodation despite my last minute arrival. Greene King Coffee sachets in guest rooms were unopenable (plastic too tough!)

Heart of England, Northampton by Marston's Inns
Room was very spacious for a single with an ensuite, plus bed was ultra comfy. Lovely little hidden gem and also the breakfast was a good body warmer and hearty stomach filler for a cold Friday morning in December. Will be back to stay here if I’m in the locality
