It's a perfect place to 'flop & drop': positioned on a beautiful clean beach, a stunning pool, great Sri Lankan food and authentic Ayurvedic massage available - a new favourite. "We loved our stay at coco tangalla. The staff was welcoming and kind and the location was amazing. The property is beautiful with a great pool and beautiful view of the beach (although you can’t swim there because of the rocks, but it’s great to watch crabs in the rock pools!) - food was very tasty (egg hoppers were especially good) and the room was comfortable and practical (not huge in itself but the bed was comfy and there was storage for our bags under the bed, and the bathroom was big)....

"Amazing stay, even extended twice. The service is second to none, everything is no problem. From the amazing view of the sea to all the varied wildlife in the grounds, posse of monkeys visit every day drinking from the pool and generally being monkeys to peacocks, a mongoose, frogs, all the birds. Nick the owner is a friendly chap and clearly set the ethos of this place and is always around to help if needed. Kalpa and Umesh (managers) are great, absolute credit to the place. "Dejligt hotel lige ved stranden. Vi boede i hytterne. Venligt personale. Dog skal man vide at man ikke kan bade på stranden da bølger og strøm er for farligt. Dejlig pool."

"Jos kaipaat rauhaa, valitse tämä hotelli! Saimme ihanan rauhallisen kahden yön yöpymisen tässä hotellissa! Sijainti sivussa kaikesta hälinästä. Aamupala oli maukas ja riittävä. Huone oli todella upea, panoraama näkymä merelle! Kilpikonnia voit nähdä merellä. Hyvä uima-allas ja hyvä palvelu. "

"Had a great stay... only down side being we were only there for 2 nights Lovely hotel, with very friendly staff. Rooms great and well appointed.Great setting and relaxing after or before safari. Only bit of advice is dont go too late for breakfast or buffet evening meal, as its all been hoovered up. Would recommend and if we find ourself in same area again, will re book. "
