"Very corporate. Good facilities but very impersonal. Only hotel on our whole trip where we didn’t get milk in the fridge! Wouldn’t stay there again. Much nicer places in the area "

"Spider webs in room corners at floor level, never got the WiFi password asked twice, Water damage to ceiling and the fire alarm went off at 2.00 am in the morning twice within 5 minutes of each burst. The staff were nice and I parked outside my room but a line of pot plants were difficult to maneuver around to get to and from ones car, the pot plants shouldn't be there a massive OH&S issue for guests. Staff were really worried about locking doors and gates which made me & my wife feel uncomfortable about the area. Not impressed! "

"Room was clean, decor a tad dated though. No reception present on arrival but they were very prompt to check us in remotely. Great location, plenty of parking, very quiet, large rooms with big smart TV. Some more quilts on bed and extra pillows woukd have been nice. Air con worked very well. The breakfast was make yourself and some bacon, tomato’s and cheese in the fridge woukd have been nice but there aa eggs, milk, juice, fruit, cereal etc "

"Abermain was a fantastic hotel. Great location to be close to the wineries in Pokolbin and Lovedale. Room was clean and it’s situated in a hotel that is 115 years old. We were worried about the shared bathroom but it was totally fine. The bar food looked great, even though we didn’t indulge after a day at the wineries. Would definitely come back to the Abermain. "

"This was my second stay. The accommodation is basic but clean. Anita remembered me from my previous stay. Anita is very welcoming and friendly. Anita everytime she sees you asks if you need anything which was lovely. Its within walking distance to Coles and eateries."
