"Beautiful common areas and excellent staff. Good restaurant out the back is super convenient. A bit disappointed with vinyl flooring in guest room which otherwise high quality. Biggest limitation was two smoke detectors that were flashing all night long."

"Just stayed at the newly remodeled Comfort Inn and it was a fantastic surprise! The room felt brand new — modern, super clean, and incredibly comfortable with fresh furnishings and a great bed. The bathroom update is especially nice. Staff was genuinely friendly and helpful from check-in to checkout. For the price, this is an absolute steal. Highly recommend — perfect stay! "This was a very convenient place to stay with our two dogs while we were on the road. It is a nice clean small two room suite with hard surface floors and we were put on a first floor convenient to the door to get out with the dogs. There was a nice hot tub and small pool in the hotel. The water pressure in the shower was excellent.The coffee was good in the morning. "This hotel is very close to places to eat and access to the highways that take you into the Black Hills. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I didn't have an iron or a desk chair when I arrived but they quickly found one for me. The hotel is beginning to show signs of wear. Breakfast was exactly the same for the three mornings I was there. Standard breakfast food and only a few small oranges. There weren't a lot of families staying when I was there due to the middle of the week,...

"I will say, the only reason I am not giving this a better rating is because nowhere on the website or when we made the reservation were we told that the hotel was undergoing extensive renovations, and the key amenities we were looking for (namely the swimming pool for our kids, and the hot fresh breakfasts) were not going to be available. I don't care how friendly the staff is, or how nice the rooms, when this level of restriction is not publicized prior to booking, it is an extremely poor look...
