"I feel it was overpriced for what it was. We got the king room and the bathroom was so small they couldn't fit a sink in; the sink was in the closet, which was a two foot wide clothes rack. There was no dresser to put clothes in, only a desk. And although it seemed recently painted, there was still a general feeling of being unclean. "I had a very pleasant stay at the Blackberry Inn. The room was well appointed though a bit old. My room was very quiet and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, and they had options! Beautiful old inn! Easy to find!"

"Needed a place to stay for one night to attend a concert at Tanglewood (about 45 minutes away from The Alander by scenic back roads). The rooms are freshly renovated and vey clean and the setting is beautiful. Didn’t have a chance to try the attached restaurant. Will definitely stay there again."
