"De Vere Tortworth Court is a beautiful and unique mansion, completely surrounded by nature, built over 170 years ago. We came to visit the Cotswolds, and this accommodation worked out quite well (it is a 40 mins-1h drive from the main villages).
Things I loved:
All the shared areas are well kept and organized, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was good as well as the bistro and the cocktail bar in the library room.
Penhalingon's products in the bathrooms
Plenty of free parking...

"Beautiful venue and rooms were lovely, unfortunately the bed wasn’t very comfortable which was a shame, it looked like 2 divans had been put together to make a king size and there was a hard beam running down the middle of the bed.
It didn’t ruin the stay it was just a bit disappointing for such a lovely place.
However the cleanliness was top notch and I felt happy overall."

"We upgraded as we were looking forward to a arelaving treat for me and my partner. The upgrade was supposedly their best room which was full of cobwebs in the lounge area the bedroom and the bathroom and their dust everywhere and even worse inside the wardrobe it was thick with dust unableto put clothes in their . The furniture was falling apart and pieces missing off bits of furniture also.
After I booked i was told breakfast last call was 10.30 am . We turned up at 9.45 to be told breakfast...

"The breakfast was very disappointing. I usually treat myself to some fresh fruit then smoked salmon and scrambled egg when I stay away from home. None looked appetising so I had a yogurt. "
