"We just stayed for a night but I wish we could have stayed longer to really enjoy the place. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. They also have a restaurant within the hotel and we really appreciate Boda (staff in the restaurant) who really took care of our breakfast. He entertained us very well.too bad never got the chance to enjoy their pool. Not enough time for us."

"Breathtaking views, quiet and relaxing surroundings. Location was perfect to see all the amazing views the Snaefellsness Peninsula has.
The owner was so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was everything you needed to fuel up for a day of adventures or relaxation. The Kast House is on a horse farm & we were able to take a morning horseback ride along the beach."

"Very nice apartment, easy parking, excellent location.We had a room with the mountain and river view it was excellent. We also saw the Northern lights in a dark quiet place behind the hotel. Our stay was just awesome!

"This quirky little hotel brought a smile as I walked into our room. Each room has a large mural by Juan Arctic that imagines a better world over seen by a puffin. We stayed in World Peace, the dining room lists all the names of the other rooms. Sadly we didn’t get to view them. Breakfast was good and filling and staff was very helpful in showing the local weather apps so we could monitor the expected blizzard."

"Es wurde geklopft, um uns auf Nordlichter aufmerksam zu machen. Bei ein paar Extrawünschen würde uns direkt und sehr freundlich geholfen. Der Pool liegt wunderbar in der Natur und alles ist sauber und schön angelegt. Einfach toll!"

"The location is serene and beautiful. I was welcomed warmly and given a brief tour. There's a restaurant on site that served a 4 course pre-selected menu that was generous, delicious, and comprised of local fresh caught ingredients. Very quiet room with a window to listen to the ocean. Breakfast was cozy the next morning and checkout was very easy. Just past Ytri Tunga, this is a perfect evening stay after exploring the upper peninsula."
