"Dinner was overcooked. The property was very pretty, lots of outdoor seating. Loved the bar outside as well. Massage was great and breakfast yummy! Overall prices were good."

"Tried to call the actual hotel numerous times and the 800# numerous times because we were visiting with people we traveled to see and was afraid wouldn't make it there by 8PM. However, we left our engagement to avoid arriving too late for check-in. (the latest check-in time per the website and confirmation) The line would not be answered and/or would ring into their fax line. When we arrived, I was told "I thought something was going on since the fax line kept ringing and no calls were coming...

"We stayed at this hotel while riding the C&O Tow Path. The staff was very supportive of accommodating our bicycles. There was a liced room for them. The included breakfast was plentiful with a variety of options. We would definitely stay here again."

"Our room, the lobby, and pool were clean and well maintained. The air handler was quiet and kept the room an even, comfy temperature. I also like Hampton pillows more than those in other hotels. They support the head while filling the space between head and neck. The Baltimore Street Grill is an excellent restaurant. We were bicycling the Great Allegheny Passage Trail and did not mind the mile walk into town. This would be easy with a car."

"When we arrived our tv was not working. Housekeeping ignored our room. Had to request trash removal and towels. We were there 5 days and housekeeping never came until the evening before we left and then it was only because I requested it. Breakfast is nice."

"The free parking (which was excellent) was confusing. In order to obtain a parking dongle, you had to check in but there was no where to park when you were trying to check in. Also, if you didn't return the parking dongle, you were charged $20 but you can't exit the parking garage without the dongle. Therefore, you have to exit the garage and find somewhere to park so you can return the dongle and finish checking out. They need to come up with a better method of enabling parking access."

"We stayed at Visitation during our son and DIL marriage in the Frederick courthouse- afterwards we reserved dinner at Wye Oak Tavern. The environment, presentation and superior taste of food made for a memorable evening. They treated us with a glass of complimentary champagne to celebrate our night and we never felt rushed to leave that evening. It was a special night and our stay at hotel was superb - rooms were immaculate and comfortable- hotel grounds were lovely to relax."
