The hotel had convenient FREE parking on site, rooms had all the amenities you needed and was in walking distance to the main shopping areas. "This is a nice hotel - large reception with lots of seating areas, big restaurant/bar area, spa, beautiful grounds, walkable to the quay area for restaurants, and a long but doable walk to town. Mary at the front desk was very nice and gracious when we checked in and through our stay. Some negatives - the property and the rooms are showing some signs of age and wear. Carpets need refreshing. We found our bedroom to be spacious. Breakfast was a bit better than average, although the breakfast staff seemed inexperienced and not as well trained as in many hotel restaurants. No decaf coffee ?? The dinner dining room staff were much better - excellent and attentive. "

"We had a nice stay here. Loved Westport. Easy to walk downtown from the location. Many great options for restaurants and pubs. Room was too hot with no way to control the heat, but were able open the windows to make it comfortable. "
