"Check in went well. The rooms were clean and the space was spacious. Also, the staff were pleasant and friendly. This motel is in a convenient location and right next to Pōhutu Gyser, which was a real treat. You could observe the gyser from the backyard which overlooks the area. "

"Great place to stay with lots of included activities available on site - tennis, mini golf, table tennis, petanque, pool. They also have mountain bikes available for guest - I'm not sure if there is a charge for these. We brought our own mountain bikes and they were able to store them for us in their shed whilst we did other things about town which was great. The rooms themselves were spotless, large and the bed was super comfy. Everything you needed was there with the little kitchenette...

"We loved our stay at Hideaway as a family of 4. The rooms were newly renovated and had everything we needed, excellent playground complete with sandpit and trampoline for the kids, as well as the friendly Alpacas we could hand feed right in the backyard. The location was so convenient to Fairy Springs attractions, supermarket and central Rotorua. Thank you for accommodating our little sausage dog too :)"

"Great location- close to a lot of attractions, grocery stores and restaurants. The place was clean and super comfortable with everything you might need during your trip. The kitchen has also everything you need for cooking/eating in- a medium size fridge, a toaster, a cooktop, a kettle, a microwave, pots/pans/utensils… Would definitely stay there again!"
