A magical spot in Whanganui National Park. So much history and stories to be told.
The Bridge-to-Nowhere is one of 3 sister bridges (the others are the Bridge-to-Somewhere and the Bridge-to-Elsewhere). We went to see it with the Bridge to nowhere tour guides. Absolutely brilliant! We chose to stay overnight in the lodge and could have stayed there forever

The room was clean, bathroom tiny, couldn't fill the jug in the bathroom basin. My room was downstairs and the guests in the room above, you could hear walking around and ceiling creaked every time they moved around.

Room was small but enough space for a couple of nights. Staff was really concern about cleaning. Kitchen has enough kitchenware to make a decent meal, in the night usually very busy.
