Khách sạn Wharewaka , Taupō

"Everything is very Good Excellent customer service and the room is very neat and tidy"

"The management is very friendly and helpful, and accommodated our request to move room willingly. The spa is brilliant"

"The property was excellent and well maintained. Our room wasn't ready at check-in time so we were given complimentary drinks which were great. Buffet breakfast was average."

"Lovely situation on Lake Taupō. Would have liked a bow of the Lake and Mountains"

"There is no heating system in the 2 small beds room which we not been able to use it Bcz it’s very cold Even in the main bedroom there is a oil heater which is not very sufficient I must say dont just book for the morning outside view the same mistake we did food flies and other flies were also there Overall experience is very bad Don’t recommend or book it your own risk Thanks"

"The lady staff was lovely, beautiful spot. Beautiful spa and pool even in cold windy weather i was in there. Room had cooking facilities and very clean. Enjoyed my stay. The offsite gym you have access too Empower fitness is good too."

"Địa điểm đẹp, phòng đẹp và sạch sẽ, cô chủ hướng dẫn nhiệt tình"

"Good location, we could easily walk to town. The pool was good, small but good. Parking would be a problem if a units guests brought more than one car. Amenities sounded great, but we could not use our spa bath as they ran out of hot water. Also promoted unlimited wifi, technically true but it always said connected with no internet, and these days that was not acceptable. For these reasons we will not be looking to stay there when next in taupo."

"The hotel is a little outside Taupo town centre, but it’s a very good choice if you’re just passing through, don’t need to visit the town centre, and especially if you’re planning to visit Taupo DeBretts Hot Springs. One thing to be aware of is that the hotel’s café, Espresso Cove Taupo, is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. I was also assigned a room without an elevator, so I had to carry my 23 kg suitcase and the rest of my luggage up and down the stairs myself. This was quite inconvenient,...

"Basic room but comfortable"

"Very clean with everything you need in the room. Just across the road from the lake with stunning views. We were welcomed by the hosts with warmth and care. It was my husband's birthday and they really made him to feel special. Would highly recommend."

"View was amazing and room was comfortable. Could use a touch up but everything else was great."

"Since the pools cost extra, we didn't use the amenities. It was just a hotel room for us; could have been anywhere. Frustrating that the featured picture is one you have to pay extra to experience. Directions also say to "contact the property in advance for check-in instructions" and "To make arrangements for check-in please contact the property at least 24 hours before arrival" -- turns out there was no need to go to the effort. The front desk staff had no idea what I was talking about. Room...

"The room was clean and well stocked with towels, tea coffee, utensils etc. beds were comfortable. Great location, off street parking. Friendly staff and great comms before arrival. Easy check in. We only stay a night but if staying longer, the hotel offered towels to take if heading out for a swim and kayaks to hire. Bbq facilities also available. The court yard could do with a bit of tlc, remove the dead plants and bathroom is tired - wall paper is starting to come off and mould above the...

"Great Location"

"Ross is a wonderful host and is very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a small and cosy studio apartment that had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had a kitchenette with cooking utensils and a stovetop, mini fridge and microwave. Everything we needed to prepare simple meals from scratch including eating/serving utensils. There’s a trampoline for kids and a bit of yard space with reclining chairs to relax in. We used the washing machine and dryer for free, even washing powder is...

"The staff was very helpful and the room was fairly clean."

"It was a very enjoyable stay. Unit was clean and Staff very helpful. Was surprised with the additional mineral pools which was a real treat"

"Room was clean. Easy check in process. Bed was comfy. Great location"
