"Breakfast room was unfinished; food was sparse, chose not to eat there. Property run down. Town itself was nearby and cute. Ate breakfast at Day Break Cafe and dinner at Just for the Halibut. All restaurant staff friendly and fun and the woman at the British Shoppe was very pleasant and helpful. "
"A wonderful little spot. As you will read in other reviews, yes the hotel is a little outdated, but it is clearly maintained very nicely. Heating was a little off, I suspect the windows are very drafty, so the heat is turned up very high to accommodate the chill during certain months, but that was not a problem for me. The club across the street is definitely audible on weekends. Nothing I couldn't handle, but it should be stated. Location was excellent, local diner voucher was given for a discount at certain restaurants, and a very honest and sweet man was working the front. Parking is offsite but compensated. I would absolutely stay here again, I would just caution those with a lot of luggage that unloading/loading might be complicated. And if you're a light/anxious sleeper, see if you can get a room that does not face the street."
"Stayed at the Comfort Inn Peterborough and had a pleasant experience overall. The rooms were clean, the hotel was quiet, and it made for a comfortable stay.
Breakfast offered a good assortment of options including muffins, cereal, eggs, and sausage on the hot plate, which was appreciated. The only downside was that there were no almond milk or lactose-free milk options available, which would have been nice for guests with dietary restrictions.
Overall, a good stay with friendly accommodations and a relaxing atmosphere."
"Stay was fine. Hot tub broken, breakfast pretty expensive for option..best to go across street to diner. Rooms and property dated, nice that on waterfront "
"Highly recommend! This hotel is a tiny bit dated but otherwise the best hotel I’ve stayed at this year. We stay at hotels at least 6-8 times a year between my kids different competitions and will be recommending this hotel to anyone staying in Peterborough. Staff were great, pool was heated, hot tub was actually hot. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Appreciated the free breakfast that had early hours so I could actually use it. Parking lot is huge and has spots close to all areas of the hotel. Book here:)"
