"Don't be too put off by the hotel exterior which looks a bit grim. Inside there is a nice lobby with fire burning. We were upgraded to a huge suite on 3rd floor. Clean, comfy and very quiet. Only problem with room was the WiFi signal was very poor (full 5G connection in lobby). Breakfast was basic but coffee very good. Difficult to say if we'd recommend. Pros and cons. Pool was full of soapy scum. But hotel extremely good value for money."

"This is one review that I am very happy to write! Sitzmark Chalet Inn is not at all typical. The facility is immaculately manicured with a really nice outdoor area with seating for BBQ's and just enjoying the mountain air. Really cool is the outdoor barrel style sauna. It was very nice! Roomy parking spaces that are not crammed. The staff were all excellent (cannot emphasize enough). We met the owners (husband & wife) and two staff that were there and all of them were some of the nicest people we could ever meet. They all treated us first class and checked on us every time we stepped into the common area. One of the personal touches was fresh homemade muffins (blueberry & cranberry nut) every morning and gourmet coffee that was a match made in heaven. Heaven it was for sure! This is an older place but perfectly clean inside and out with every detail meticulously kept. The rooms are spacious and clean and themed perfectly. The air conditioning worked perfectly and there was also heat if it got too chilly. This place was impressive and such a breath of fresh air. Shops and restaurants are very close by (just down the street) and some within easy walking distance. Finally, we will not forget this place and future visits to Ruidoso, NM will include another stay at this wonderful facility. Sitzmark Chalet Inn is a real winner that we totally recommend! Great stay! "

"Weve stayed here multiple times traveling back and forth to Arizona. Always feel comfortable here with roomy accommodations and comfortable beds and pillows. Also the breakfasts are great with quality foods."

"Terrible didn’t send me the door code until a few min before midnight. And still tried to blame it on me just so they wouldn’t give me a refund. I am beyond upset ruined all my plan and my food that I was suppose to make getting there. Regret renting this cabin not for 200 for a couple of hours "
