Later, when I questioned the charge, the front desk employee told me it was listed on the DoubleTree website. "The room was great for the price. It was very spacious and clean. The bed could have been a bit firmer and the shower head was not easy to change the water flow. It was very forceful. I like a great water flow but this was to forceful to me. I would definitely go back there if I was in the area again."

"Staff was extremely helpful and sweet. Not many people used the pool, so my friend and I had it to ourselves a lot of the time. Safe to walk around outside, lots of coffee shops, outdoor shopping center, apartments, all within walking distance. Perfect 35 minutes outside Charleston, Summerville was a nice place to wind down after a long day. Fireplace didn’t work which was a little bit of a bummer but the gentleman working was kind and candidly explained why; to no fault of the staff. Overall...
