"Staff were wonderful as was the room and the food available in the restaurant. Only disadvantage was the lack of car parking but that still wouldn’t put us off returning."

"Everything from checking in dining and drinking and the overnight stay and breakfast was brilliant the staff were amazing would highly recommend to others"

"Great location"

"We loved everything about this hotel, the location was great, the staff were friendly and helpful, our room was bright and spacious and the restaurant food and Bar areas were lovely. We will definitely be booking again!"

"Clean, well equipped and convenient for all Whitstable has to offer. Parking a real plus too."

"Vi fik ikke tilsendt koden til indtjekning, og forsøgte selv på flere måder at skaffe den. Først 3. forsøg - ved telefonopringning, fik vi fat i værten, som oplyste koden til nøgleboksen. Det gav unødvendigt stress, for et ellers dejligt ophold"

"Great stay - convenient location just a short walk from the high st and attached to a fabulous restaurant. We stayed on the top floor - great room but a bit tricky for anyone who is less mobile or quite tall. Really great friendly service from the staff from start to finish."

"Great location, great breakfast, great staff and clean rooms - lovely weekend stay!"

"The breakfast was fantastic, the staff were brilliant. Lovely, cosy, traditional pub. Very, very clean, cute room with great amenities. We can't ask for any more. Thank you so much. We loved reading about the family as well in the guest book and all the other properties. We definitely recommend staying!"

"Looks better on the outside than the inside, as it's a dated property. Reflected in the lower than average price however. No major complaints however."

"We made a very last minute booking to the hotel and arrived just 20 minutes later. Kimberley on reception was amazing, helping us with a smooth check in and a really warm welcome. She got us a table in the restaurant too where we had a lovely dinner and great breakfast the next morning. The room in this old historical inn was very clean and comfy. Low doors and winding staircases add to the historial fun. The gardens are very well kept and pretty and we enjoyed exploring them after breakfast."

"Clean comfortable quiet room on the first floor. Staff were all very friendly, and helpful. Great service."

"Very nice old building, immediately adjacent to the entrance to Canterbury Cathedral ticket office. Centrally located on the Royal Mile. The main downside is that parking is about 1/4 mile away and Ubers and Taxis can only get you within 100 yards of the door"

"Fantastic spot right in the center of Canterbury. That being said, not recommended for light sleepers: the streets outside are lively into the night and the delivery trucks start very early. Room was immaculate, comfy beds, and modern bathroom. Great lounge in the lobby too!"

"Wonderful 1 night stay in Canterbury. Good walkable distance to the town centre. Lovely room, staff and breakfast"

"Fantastic room with great beams and a fantastic bath."
