The shower in our bathroom did not work. Water came out of the main faucet, but not from the showerhead. I let front desk know - they said someone looked at it and it was fine, but that is not the case. Either someone did not look at it or they just checked the main faucet. This was so frustrating and disappointing to not be able to shower. My daughter had a sports event so showering is important. She had to just do a rinse off from the main faucet. Could not take a bath as no way to plug the drain. I asked for a discount on my stay, but was told since I booked through Expedia, they (Comfort Inn) couldn’t do anything. This was another frustrating thing. I did a chat with Expedia and just got a $50 credit for a future booking. That is not helpful at all! We don’t travel a lot, so I don’t even know when we’d use this. I expected a discount now, on this stay!!! A discount on this stay is what I would like for the major inconvenience of not having a working shower! Also, we were on the 4th floor, and the phones did not work. People I talked to at the hotel were nice, but apparently they can’t do anything because of how I booked it - through Expedia. I expected some type of discount on my stay as I expected a working shower. I’d like to talk to an actual person about this, but that seems almost impossible. It’s either a live chat or an incredibly long wait time to call. I can’t just wait on the phone all day. Please do better at handling things like this.
